the five best things to do at your apple orchard mini session

I love this farm, located in the most beautiful landscape of Snohomish, Washington. And I love taking photos of my families there. It is such a lovely spot for fall family portraits.

Why do I love it??

  1. Pick apples with your family!!

Ok, this one is super obvious, but there is just something about doing a seasonal activity with your family that helps usher in the cozy fall time like no other. The apple trees are beautiful and they have varieties, which is so nice. You can have the best time exploring the orchard and finding yummy apples to pick.

  2. Eat delicious seasonal donuts

Ok so this is one of my favorite things about this farm. I LOVE DONUTS. The only thing I love more than donuts is a seasonal one. Gimme all the pumpkin, cinnamon, and apple cider donuts, please!

  3. Check out the country store

The family store has coffee, hot chocolate, homemade jam, and more! I strongly encourage my families to show up at their session ready to support the farm by purchasing a tree or an item from the store. Let’s support our local, family-owned businesses!

  4. Eat fresh, farm-grown goodies

That’s right folks. Literally, farm to table. This family grows their own food and makes it fresh, on-site for us every day.

  5. Hang with your family doing all the fun fall festivities

From the twelve-acre corn maze shaped like the state of Washington to the petting farm, tractor pull, and ziplines. Seriously, there are so many festive things to do at this farm. And I want to document these wonderful family memories you are bound to make with the people you love most.

So, if you’ve been way too busy to schedule family pictures, or you just keep putting them off because, LIFE, consider an apple orchard mini session. They are quick, easy, and build family memories like you wouldn’t believe!!

love your photographer,

Anna
