top five things to do at golden gardens mini sessions // black and white

This family is so cute! They had the best time at Golden Gardens while I took pictures of their love and memory-making hangs.

Why did they love it??

  1. Golden Gardens Beach is iconic - ask anyone in the Seattle area for recommendations on a great beach for the fam and this is top of the list.

  2. Golden Gardens is gorgeous - expansive views, the Olympics in the background, trees, nature, and refreshing PNW weather. What more could you ask for?!

  3. We have a mission! In my 11 years of photographing families and 7 years specializing in documentary family photography, I have found it helps so much if families have an activity. We are less likely to have awkward family photos if they are focused on building a sandcastle, feeding the ducks, or finding the perfect rocks on the beach. Also, a huge plus, is that having a family activity helps facilitate REAL MOMENTS and candid photos.

  4. Pet-friendly environment! - please bring your furry family members! it’s not only ok by me, but it’s also encouraged!

  5. Yummy food - we can grab some ice cream or warm beverages at Ballard’s favorite Little Coney just a short drive (or a long walk if you prefer) from the beach OR grab some yummy little dutch pancakes at Miri’s right on the beach.

So, if you’ve been way too busy to schedule family pictures, or you just keep putting them off because, LIFE, consider a golden gardens mini session. They are quick, easy, and build family memories like you wouldn’t believe!!

love your photographer,

Anna
